La actriz Jessica Pimentel, conocida por su papel de María Ruiz en la serie «Orange is the new black», ha dicho que está componiendo nuevos temas junto a su novio, Tomas Haake, batería de Meshuggah. Comenta que la idea es lanzarlos por internet pero guardando el anonimato, que no se sepa que son ellos.

Jesssica, que aseguró que el disco que la introdujo en el Heavy Metal fue “Conspiracy” de King Diamond, es también cantante en el grupo Alekhine’s Gun. A primeros de este mes la banda lanzó un nuevo sencillo titulado “21” que formará parte de un futuro EP, “Year of the Lazarus».

 

Vince Neil, cantante de Mötley Crüe, ha publicado en su cuenta de Instagram la mala noticia de que su perrita, una yorkshire terrier de cinco años, ha sido brutalmente asesinada por otros dos perros grandes propiedad de un vecino. Afirma que las cámaras de seguridad de su vivienda captaron la muerte del animal, cuyo nombre era California Wolf Neil.

With a heavy heart we share the news that our beloved California Wolf Neil has gone to heaven. Her passing was tragic. She was brutally murdered on our front door by two evil neighbor dogs, which is caught on our security cameras. Our neighbors are trying to cover it up and say that she ran two football fields to their pasture and their long horn steers killed her!! Please pray for her justice because her killers are still running free!! Cali touched every person she came in contact with and was loved by all. We wish we could have her back. But we know it’s the circle of life and she will come back to us in her next life. Thank you all for your support and love during these difficult times. We will be posting and sharing more photos of her as we have almost 6 years of beautiful memories with her. She had the ‘it factor’ and was perfect in every way. She had a pure soul, loved with her whole heart and could never hurt a soul. We always prayed for her protection and that she would never feel any pain. Geddy Lee, cantante y bajista de Rush, también ha utilizado su cuenta de Instagram para mostrar la que dice es una de sus primeras fotos interpretando música.

Geddy, que ahora tiene 66 años, comenta que debe estar hecha en 1967 o 1968 cuando su edad era de 14 o 15.

Once in a while, a photo I’ve havent seen in ages, or ever…pops up on social media, like a ghost from my past. I find myself slack-jawed, mouth gaping at some of them in wonder…»Is that me?.. where on earth, did this come from?» Well, this is one such photo. I was 14 or 15, playing in a garage band, at what is obviously one of my very first gigs ever… I do recall that we played some songs by Sam and Dave, and The Grassroots! …and if you look closely, you can barely see a sliver of a white Hagstrom bass in my hands!
